This is a page of spiritual links to help you cope during this Pandemic Crisis. Remember – you are not alone.
This is a prayer from St Ignatius of Loyola’s Spiritual Exercises. At this time, as we are forced to reflect on and experience our Spiritual communion in Christ rather than our Eucharistic communion in Christ, this prayer can help us to reflect on all aspects of Christ’s presence and power as we continue to be brought into communion with Him and one another.
Soul of
Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O Good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds hide me.
Permit me not to be separated from you.
From the wicked foe, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
and bid me come to you
That with your saints I may praise you
For ever and ever. Amen.
This is an excellent resource on the Sunday gospel. It is more academic than others, and maybe harder to understand.
