Sheboygan South Catholic Parishes Update:
We realize that some of you who are 65 and older may be thinking that you are not welcome to come to church on the weekend because the archbishop advised against it, but PLEASE know that this does not mean that you CANNOT come to Mass. You are still welcome to come to Mass – but PLEASE be advised that if you have any underlying health issues that makes you more susceptible to the coronavirus it is in YOUR best interest to stay home and watch our live-stream Mass on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM on Facebook or you can also watch Mass at the Cathedral in Milwaukee at 11:00 AM on Sunday mornings on the Fox Channel (Channel 6). There is also a Mass on Sunday mornings at 5:30 AM on Channel 6, which is a prerecorded Mass.
We are presently in Phase One of the archdiocesan matrix plan for re-opening our parishes. Here is the link to view the various aspects of the plan so that you can understand how the process will continue until we are back in full operation. The archbishop will let us know when we are moving to Phase Two and Phase Three. You might notice that we are allowed to have Weekday Masses again, so we will start slowly with Masses on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays – one at each parish. This will begin on Wednesday, June 17th, at SS. Cyril & Methodius. [Mass on Tuesdays will be held at Immaculate Conception in the main church, and on Thursdays at Saint Peter Claver]. These Weekday Masses will be held at 8:30 AM.
If you are 18 or older and you are interested in being confirmed, now is the time to register.
